MagnaClean HP™ - Effective Heat Pump Protection
Low
temperature heating systems, such as heat pumps, are the perfect breeding ground for bacterial
growth. If managed incorrectly, bacterial growth can clog up the system, reduce efficiency and ultimately cause breakdowns down the line.
MagnaClean HP is specifically designed to protect
heat pumps from both magnetic and non-magnetic contaminants, meaning you can keep your heat pumps running as efficiently as possible, for as long as possible.
Thanks to its high-quality build, powerful magnet, stainless steel gauze and non-blocking design, you can rest assured that MagnaClean HP will efficiently protect your heat pump and will stand the test of time.
Homeowner benefits
- Protects your heat pump system from both magnetic and non-magnetic debris.
- Save up to 7% per year on your gas usage*.
- Immediate ongoing system protection.
- Extended system life of up to 7 years.
- Reduces CO2 emissions by up to 250kg per year.
- 10-year warranty when registered within 30 days of installation.
*Based on independent research in the UK.

Installation and servicing guide
Maintain peak performance
Whether you’re fitting a MagnaClean HP™ on a brand-new heat pump installation or
retrofitting it on an existing one, get the installation right to
give the heat pump the best protection possible. To help keep the filter
performing at peak efficiency, just like it was the day it was fitted, service it on an annual basis. Download our guides for detailed information.
- Always follow the electrical and safety standards when installing a filter.
- It is recommended that the filter is installed by a qualified heating engineer.
- MagnaClean HP must be installed indoors and is not suitable for external use.
- MagnaClean HP should ideally be fitted in-line on the return pipe. Alternative sitings can be located when the return pipe is not available.

What is sludge and how does it affect your heating system?
Sludge is the number one cause of central heating breakdown.
Breakdowns cost the UK over £700m a year in unexpected bills.
Sludge, also known as iron oxide or magnetite builds up within your heating
system and can clog up your pipes and cause damage to
expensive parts.
ADEY is here to stop this.

Prevent biological build-up with MC10+ Biocide
With a dual biocide formulation, MC10+ tackles algae and biological contamination with ease. Extra concentrated, containing two active ingredients, it’s more effective than single biocide products when it comes to preventing the problems that arise in underfloor heating.
